((The role of (Hepatokines) and some hormonal variables in patients with cardiovascular disease.))

The main objective of this study investigated the involvement of hepatokines, certain hormones, and biochemical variations in patients with cardiovascular disease, particularly those with myocardial infarction and angina pectoris, at Tikrit Teaching Hospital. The study included 60 male and female patients. The study occurred from August 1, 2023 to October 1, 2023, on a study community ranging in age from (30 - 60) years, with a total study community of 90 individuals, including 30 healthy adults who served as a control group. 60 patients are divided into two distinct categories: myocardial infarction (30) and angina pectoris (30).
Serum concentrations of Fetuin-A (FETU-A), Selenoprotein-P (SEPP1), Adropin, and Copeptin are measured using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sandwich-ELISA) method. In contrast, malonaldehyde (MDA) is detected using a spectrophotometer.
